On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, business and technology professionals came from across the state to attend the 4th MNWest CEO Forum and Entrepreneur Summit focused on “Relationships Matter” in Moorhead, Minnesota. The event focused on showcasing next-gen AI applications, future-forward business strategies, groundbreaking VP experiences and over 20 regional companies.

Focus on Technology and Business
The Summit explored the impact of AI particularly on education and healthcare. Attendees learned how generative AI tools are being utilized in the education industry by tailoring learning experiences, addressing challenges and reducing time spent planning. There were also discussions around sustaining and growing businesses. Companies remain intact when businesses remember the importance of collaboration and being community-minded, highlighting how relationships matter.

LYFT and SWWC Recognized
At the MNWest CEO Forum and Entrepreneur Summit, Launch Your Future Today (LYFT) Career Pathways and SWWC Service Cooperative (SWWC) were recognized at this event for their leadership and desire to highlight an entrepreneurial mindset for students. 

The LYFT program was helpful when Southwest Minnesota CEO was formed. Today, LYFT supports special student business interface programs in several school district clusters across the region. Originally conceived by LYFT and SWWC and its workforce partners in the region, it is a prime example of the impact that can be achieved through creative, can-do problem-solving collaboration across the verticals in societies and organizations. The SWMN CEO Program will be presented with the MNWest Voices Award for 2023. Event attendees were encouraged to take the opportunity to connect with SWMN CEO and LYFT, which will validate over time yet again, that Relationships Matter.

MNWest Voiced Award Recipient
During the 4th MNWest CEO Forum and Entrepreneur Summit, the MNWest Voiced Award was presented. Craig Oftedahl, Luverne School District Superintendent, accepted the MNWest Voiced Award. The Southwest MN CEO Program which enables student entrepreneurs to bloom where they are planted and to create relationships that matter.
